Why it matters
Permanent is a feature, not a confession.
On mainstream apps, bringing up a vasectomy, a tubal ligation or a bilateral salpingectomy is a gamble: too early and it reads as oversharing, too late and it ends something that was going well. Many sterilized people describe the same arc, a few good weeks and then "but what if you change your mind?"
Childfree Connection skips the arc. Every member has decided against kids. Sterilization Status is one of the Essentials on your profile, with the answers Sterilized, Will Sterilize and Not Sterilized, and Discover can filter on it. People who want a partner who has already taken the step can find each other directly, and people planning the procedure can meet others who have been through it.

From the founder
I built Childfree Connection to help take the stigma out of being childfree. It's a valid choice, and the people who make it deserve to find each other, whether that's a partner, friends or both, wherever they live. On mainstream apps, "I don't want kids" ends a lot of conversations; here it's where they start. We started in the US, and members have now joined from about 85 countries. To me that shows childfree life isn't an American trend. It's worldwide, and it isn't going anywhere.

Is Childfree Connection only for sterilized people?
No. It is for everyone who doesn't want kids. 62% of members who answer the question are sterilized or planning to be (October 2026), and you can filter Discover for them if that matters to you.
Does my profile have to say I had a vasectomy?
No. Sterilization Status is optional. You can show Sterilized, Will Sterilize or Not Sterilized, choose "prefer not to say", or leave it blank.
Can I search for partners who are already sterilized?
Yes. Discover's Essentials filters include Sterilization Status, so you can show only members who are sterilized, or who plan to be.
Is it free?
Yes. Childfree Connection is free to join and use: your profile, Discover, Connects, messages, groups and events. Optional memberships add extras.
I'm planning a tubal or a bisalp. Is this for me?
Yes. "Will Sterilize" is one of the answers, and in groups and messages you can find members who have been through the procedure to ask about recommendations and recovery.
